A Promise
Be confident. For once, wake up and look in the mirror, and see a greater version of yourself, which is really just being as authentic to you as humanly possible—instead of looking down on yourself in pure disgust, believing the false reality that you’re an inferior being. For once, feel comfortable in your skin and be grateful to be alive. Everything means nothing, and that is beautiful—rejoice, as opposed to sulking and pairing your eyes to the ground all the time. Chin up, fix your posture, and be ready to take on the day. It will get better, Lil O promises.

instructions
Do not live life in your head; stop being so worried about what others may think of you; do not overthink your social interactions; stop putting weight and importance on things that don’t truly matter; stop spending so much time and energy on love interests that don’t reciprocate; do not worry about the future when it hasn’t even arrived yet; all of that is senseless. Most things—mean nothing. And there is beauty in that. If life is pointless and aimless, then that gives people the option to create their own purpose, as opposed to following some road map given to us on how to live.

The Dirt
Take a deep breath. Life will be okay.
Let go of the sea of insecurities and self-doubt that you bask in.
For once, believe that you can do this. Remember: there is no limit on what you can do in this world.
Do not place your dreams within an imaginary prison cell; let them run rampant.

A Negative Space
Lately, the only times I ever feel suicidal are the times that I decide to open up a social media app.
Everything is so negative and vapid on there.
